In 2008 I was sent a pdf from a friend put together by the NSW Board Of Tourism for tourists visiting Sydney. It was a timetable outlining bars on each day that had a "Happy Hour" and what time it was on. I thought to myself this information is gold but really who wants a pdf? At the time Web 2.0 mashups were all the rage so I decided to take the data and integrate with Google map so people could see what was going on at a glance.
